This professional remote weather station is a high quality weather system able to read, process, and display data from three outdoor sensors ether through connected wire or by wireless 433mHz frequency signal. All the weather information is simultaneously displayed on the large user-friendly LCD for up to minute weather.

This weather station receives weather data such as wind direction and velocity, rainfall, air pressure, temperature, and humidity, dew point, and wind chill from three outdoor sensors. The received data is displayed on the base station’s LCD or it can be uploaded onto your PC using the included Heavy Weather PC Software.

The weather station can be set up by either using cable or wireless 433MHz transmission. The user should take their living surroundings into consideration before deciding which method is best suited for them. Connection cable is advantageous in that the data transmission from the outdoor sensors the to base station is interference free and the AC/DC adaptor supplies continuous power to all units. Using 433MHz wireless transmission will allow users little restriction so that the outdoor sensors can be positioned virtually anywhere within an 82 ft radius of the base station.

How This Weather Station Works:

Weather information is collected from an array of outside sensors (wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, temperature, humidity, rainfall) located on a fixed mast on the roof. Information is sent via wired and wireless connections to the La Crosse 2135 base station.  Data from the base station is then transferred to my desktop computer where it is stored and prepared for graphical display.

Every two minutes this refined data is forwarded through my DSL internet connection to:

The Weather Exchange website for display and analysis along with the data from other personal weather stations in the local area. If you are interested in a free, user-friendly weather program that is specifically designed for your local area this program is highly recommended. It is a free download and contains no spyware.
