On the way from the overlook to the old stone house, there is an impossiblly difficult trail up (or down) what I believe
is referred to as "Salamander Rock." In fact this ride is so difficult, a guy named "Mo" cut and labeled his own quarter-mile
detour around it. As for me, I'll ride "Mo's Cut" around Salamander Rock, that is, if I value the integrity of my body
in good working order.
At any rate, the rocks in this photo are slightly off the trail at the bottom of Salamander. I keep going back
to this photo, not really sure what it is I like about it. The textures? The colors? I would love to hear your
cirtique of this one.
