Miss Debbie and her talented staff love kids!  Our classes are fun and affordable.  We focus on proper Dance Technique while adhering to a philosophy that Dance must be enjoyable.  We use positive reinforcement as our motivator and praise and encouragement makes all the difference in the world.  Your child is not a number.  We know each child by name.  Come observe a class and see what we do.

Who We are!

Debbie Kogut started her School in 1989.  She had eleven students her first year.  The school has grown and evolved to what it is today.  Debbie began dancing at the age of five in her home town Scituate Ma.  She has studied under many wonderful teachers over the years.  Florence Duval and Carolyn Williams are just a few.
She completed the Teacher Training Program in Boston Ma with The Dance Teachers Club of Boston.  Among her fellow classmates she received the highest graduating score.  Miss Debbie continues to keep up to date on new teaching techniques and dance styles.

Miss Debbie began teaching Dance and Gymnastics at The Duval Dance Studio in Scituate Ma as a young girl.  She went on to teach at The Cindy Wright Dance Studio in Wellesley Ma , Gymfit in Natick Ma and  The YMCA in Framingham Ma before opening her own studio.  After opening her school in 1989 she later took on the role of Choreographer for The Valley Music School Summer Theater Program as well as choreographer for The Northbridge Middle School Show Choir. She is currently the choreographer for the Northbridge Middle School Drama Production.   She has also had the wonderful opportunity to choreograph in Milford and in Worcester at the middle schools there.

We feel that Dance must be fun!
It is our goal to offer classes that are fun, safe affordable and taught with the proper technique.  We make it a point to really get to know each child and the best way for them to learn the art of dancing.  Lots of friendships are formed in our classes that have lasted a life time.

Each Dancer whether they are three years old or thirty three years old are treated with respect.  We value the differences in how people learn and make every effort to respect those differences.  We want each Dancer to feel good about what they are doing and look at the progress they  make in their own abilities as valuable and unique.  It is also our desire to foster positive and fun peer relationships in the class setting.  We make it a goal to encourage that we are all friends here at Dance Class.
