Robin Lynn McMahon, PhD, a licensed clinical social
worker is the founder of GriefCare.org. She is a private practitioner
who has provided services for nearly 2 decades to individuals and families facing life transitions. She has worked as an inpatient and outpatient chemical dependency counselor, bereavement
counselor, and hospice social worker. A mentor to medical students, Robin has been a guest lecturer at local
universities and currently teaches in the Pastoral Counseling Program at Loyola College. She has been featured in Washingtonian
magazine, Washington Woman magazine; appeared on local television news and public access programs; and interviewed
on local and national radio programs including National Public Radio.
