While it doesn't feel like spring, the last term of the school year has arrived.  Students who had computers during term 2 are returning to finish the course.

 

The class will start off with working with images from the web.  Many students are working on their Social Studies Expo projects and are having trouble manipulating images that they copied from the web.  Hopefully, this week's lessons will help.

 

We will then move on to working with spreadsheets.  Students will plan a party the "old fashion way" (paper and pencil), and then repeat the assignment with a pre-designed spreadsheet.  The next step will be for students to create their own spreadsheets which shows how they spend their time each day.  From that spreadsheet, students will also learn how to create pie charts and bar graphs.

 

The final project of the year will be to create a newspaper for an ancient civilization.  More details will be coming soon!
