Classroom Expectations

Students are to come to class prepared.  You should always bring a pencil and your agenda book.  From time to time, you will also be requested to bring in certain textbooks or worksheets.  You will not be allowed to go to your classroom or locker to get these items.

Students are to enter the classroom, report to their seats and immediately begin working on Type to Learn.

Classroom assistants should begin handing out folders and papers in a quiet and polite manner.

Anyone leaving the classroom will be required to sign-out completely on the sign-out sheet after receiving permission from the teacher.

Students are to act responsibly when absent from class.  Most of the computer work will need to be completed in school.  Therefore, if you miss class, you should be prepared to come in during extra help time.

Students are to fully utilize class time.   If you are wasting class time, you will need to make it up during an extra help session.

Students will use appropriate language and maintain an appropriate volume at all times.

Students are to be polite and respectful at all times to both staff and fellow students.

Students are to respect property that belongs to others.  This includes the teacher’s desk, other students’ property, desks, texts, computers, etc.
