Homework
· Teachers give out homework for us to learn better so don’t
complain about it.
· It is NOT called buswork for a reason.
· Make sure that you set aside a time from your schedule
when you can do your homework.
Buses
· If
there are problems in the back of the bus, it’s ok to go tell the bus driver.
· You don’t need to sit in the back all the time. It
doesn’t make you cool.
·
Sometimes the bus can
be very noisy and bumpy so you can feel upset or annoyed. If you do, tell a parent
so they can talk to the bus driver. Ask her/him if they can fix the number of
kids.

Lockers
- If your locker is very messy, ask your teacher if you can clean it out when it is silent reading
time.
- Make sure that you don’t take too long at your locker so that your locker buddy has some time at it.
If you keep forgetting
your books, here’s some advice:
6th graders: Ask your teacher for another schedule
to put in your locker.
5th graders: Ask your teacher if she can type up a
list of the things that you need for first half and second half of school.

Try to hang your bags on one of the hooks.

books under your backpack.

partner time to go to their locker.

list of what you need before lunch and after lunch.

magnetic pencil holder to put in your locker.

You should get a white board so you can write down what books you bring home.

Studying and Projects
· If you have an important test or quiz make sure you study.
If you get a bad grade it will lower your grade and your parents will be upset at YOU, not your teacher.
· If you have a project that is really important, don’t
procrastinate. Work on it everyday and you’ll get it done.
· Make sure you put 120% in your work and you’ll get
a good grade.
Helpful Tips for Crab Soccer
Duck your head when the ball is going to hit your head.
Go to the ball and try to kick the ball.
If you get too hot then ask your gym teacher if you can get a drink
Do not get mad if you lose—it’s just a game
Have fun!
