“Brittany, I was wondering if you can come with me to Hidden Valley campsite this weekend? My family and I go on an annual camping trip.”
“Sure I would love to” said Brittany. “How long
do you go for?”
“We go for two weeks! My brothers and I
usually go for a hike, maybe you could come along. It is a lot of fun. Also there are a lot of girls our age there. The girls are
mainly total complete tomboys. It will be nice having some “normal”
around.”
“Cool!”
“It is a three hour drive, but we have
a DVD player and we can use my iPod, too! I have a million DVD’s, but we
will only have enough time for about two movies. The camp is so fun! There is a huge lake there. Make sure you pack bathing suits,
towels, and plenty of clothes. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen because
it gets really hot.”
“Awesome! When
are you leaving?”
“We are leaving in three days. I am so happy you can come.”
“I am glad that I can come, too. My sisters are going away to a summer camp. It
is really boring here without them, especially on rainy days. I can go to camp
next year, because my parents said that I had to be thirteen.”
“I made a friend at camp last year but
she moved two months ago. Her name is Marissa.”
“Was she nice?”
“Yeah, we still instant message each other
all the time!”
“Cool!”
“Yeah, she is awesome”
“Kayla, I got to go!”
