Welcome to the Rhode Island Chapter of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Clubs.  Our club rides in honor of  the "Forgotten Heroes" known as the Buffalo Soldiers who served our country valiantly from 1866 until the the West was won. Our membership includes: law inforcement and corrections officers; active, veteran, or retired military; other professional men and women dedicated to our current vocations and to being active in our communities by striving to spread the legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers among African Americans and to provide a positive image for all youth.  The Buffalo Soldiers are part of our African American Heritage, and we wear our colors with pride.

We do not discriminate against race, religion, gender or ethnic origin. We are an organization with majority comprised of African Americans and accept those who share our values and support our cause.

(Our motorcycle club does not claim any area or territory.)

Mission Statement

The Rhode Island Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the sport of motorcycling and to the education of all people concerning Buffalo Soldiers and the true role played by African Americans in our country’s military history.

We ride under the name of the “Buffalo Soldiers” to show that we honor and respect them for the many accomplishments they made during the decades following the civil war. We hope to instill the good character and wholesome pride of the “Buffalo Soldiers” in the minds and hearts of today’s youth, and to help them become the kind of Americans who will make positive contributions to our society. We believe in our young people and we believe that our representation and expression of pride in heroes from the past will foster and strengthen good values in our youth for the future.
