The Rhode Island Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club was founded in July of 2005 By Daniel W. Brown, Ph.D.,
Jay R. Hall, Fred Bellows, and Earl H. Bright, Jr. Approval for the Chapter was granted on Saturday, June 18, 2005 by
a unanimous vote of the NABSMC Chapter Presidents and Vice Presidents from around the country.
Our chapter desires to follow the example established by chapters like the New Jersey and the Poconos chapters and therefore
will conform to the uniform dress worn by the Buffalo Soldiers from the 1860’s to 1900 for our presentations and official
representation.

O ur Primary Goals include supporting local and national charities directed toward the youth. Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Clubs are
dedicated to being a positive influence in our communities, and to educating and informing others, especially youth, about
the history and legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers. To this end we visit schools, churches, community organizations, and senior
citizens facilities, sharing the story of these brave soldiers and their brave Indian counterparts.
