HAC sees red when tied by Cherry Hill East Although neither team will be invited to the others post game bar bash, each
will agree that this past Sunday's game was well played and hard fought. The lead bounced back and forth and the outcome would
not be known until the final whistle. Cherry Hill had a very well balanced attack and was very potent up front. Hainesport
countered with some nice passes folllowed by strong finishes. Ron had his finest game of the young season with help from a
strong supporting cast. Jim will be giving a seminar on "How to win friends and influence officials" later this week. Doug
will also be giving out beauty tips before next week's game. Hopefully both teams will be very successful throughout the rest
of the season and provide an interesting matchup for the final game of the Fall session. Please be sure to patronize our indoor
sponsor, Corollos in Hainesport, so that we may get new uniforms. One last final note. (Is that redundant?) Be sure to
let Sal Corollo know how much we miss Quizzmo on Wednesday nights!! GO HAC!

Depleted HAC Tied Up By Mantua It was a dissapointing
day for the HAC faithful. Despite having no subs, the team was able to jump out to 1-0 lead on a great run and goal by Ron.
Mantua tied it up in the second quarter on a contraversial goal. Although the striker was clearly offside, the referee's view
was obscured by the amount of players in front of him. Notwithstanding, we had our chances. We hit 3 crossbars and 1 post.
On one series Mike had a beautiful set of shots, but had trouble getting all of the ball. The Mantua keeper also made a really
nice save on the play. As weird as it sounds, Ron made a great pass to Mike all alone in front of the net only to see it sail
over the too high.
Although the strikers, defense and goalie played well, the midfielders put
in a great effort. They covered a lot of ground with no rest. A big word of thanks to Will for staying as late as he could.
Another special thanks to Oscar who spent the better part of the day getting the crap beat out of him. I believe he has a
pretty banged up knee, a bloody nose, and a collapsed lung. Most importantly, yours ytruly was able to pick up another assist
for his efforts. I know lead the team in assists. Come on guys, this burden is getting a little heavy. After watching Mike,
Ron and Victor launch weather balloons, this writer does not want to hear any critism of my patented toe balls. Speaking of
which, I believe my game was better than the following people today: Joe Pepe, VW, Chris the Kracken, Brad, Dan, Scott,Tim
Celso, and Mark. As service to thsoe fretting about missing games, we will provide a handbook for what are acceptable reasons
for non-attendance. We'll post it as soon as we get it back from the publisher. Next up, Cherry Hill East. Subs would be greatky
appreciated, unless of course they cut into my PT.

HAC starts off with a "W" After a less than enthusiastic beginning, HAC got down to the business of playing soccer.
Tired of watching "HIS" team play uninspired ball, Billy Ray Fischer got things going by scoring the first goal of the season.
He trapped a nice pass from Mikey and blasted it into the net for a 1-0 halftime lead. Laurel Springs continued to play some
nice defense, but alas, Ron was able to penetrate (he said penetrate) for two more goals. Kudos to the team as a whole. The
defense and midfield for the most part kept play at the other end. The offense was usually outnumbered on breakaway attempts.
On a side note, nice job Mark on the sideline coaching. Careful, Billy's trying to give that job to the first taker. Next
week Mantua.
