Two in a row. The boys in black and yellow have found the formula and it's working well. Team play has once more
found a 4-2 win for the good guys. With 4 different players in the scoring column, HAC registered win number two. Finding
ourselves down one player ealy in the game, Hainesport took a 1-0 lead on some timely runs coinciding with crisp passing and
nice shot by Karl. For the third game in a row and fourth time in the last three games, their was a PK shot. Coach Bill tried
to reward Chris for his efforts, but Chris came up short. His PK kick was best described by Ron as "the worst pansy shot I
ever saw". Fans of the "Kracken" were quick to point out that he would make up for his shotcomings. Well....make up he did.
Having about two feet of room to work with, Chris took a shot from outside the 18 and snuck one in on the short side of the
net. The following 3 goal burst was a direct result of Chris' goal and efforts throughout the game. VW and Mikey put us ahead
4-1 with their two goals. Voorhees finished the scoring with a nice goal from just outside the 18. The final score read 4-2
Hainesport. Not one of the 6 goals was easily earned. Both goalies made some nice saves. It was another exhibition of good
teamwork on both sides of the ball. Next week sends Northern Burlington our way. Do I smell a little revenge for the way we
were manhandled at their field? Maybe we can get our act together this time around. One thing is for certain, they won't lay
down for us. See you there.

Finally! A good team effort. It's been a long drought, but the team has found a way to win without Ron
in the lineup. Scoring came from everywhere on the field and was much needed. It seems HAC learned how to pass the ball again.
And pass they did. With control passing and timely pressures, Hainesport was able to find the back of the net enough times
to gain their first win this season. Although Ron's absence has put a strain on the offense, they were able to put together
a well balanced attack to gain a 4-2 victory over always tough Mantua. Leading the charge was "The Kracken " himself. Chris
added a goal of his own to complement his well placed passes and assists. His dribbling enabled us to keep control of the
ball at key junctures of the game. Mike's hustle around the net drew a timely PK shot which earned us another goal. Victor
finished out the scoring with 2 goals of his own. With fatigue settling in, Mantua seized the oppotunity and scored the last
2 goals of the game. It was a great effort and good match for both teams. Fortunately, we came out on top. Next week, Voorhees
South. Since this is a new team, there are no scouting reports available. We may send Ron to their team practices so he can
pull a Tanya Harding and wack them in their shins with his crutches.

Who are these guys?!?Laurel Springs showed up for the first game of the season ready to play. Unfortunately, we did not! HAC showed
alot of off-season rust and LS appeared to be in midseason form. Opportunities abounded for both sides, however, nothing found
it's way to the back of the net. HAC tried playing long ball all day and had nothing to show for it. Scott did manage to rocket
a shot off the post as did a player from LS. The big excitement of the day was the PK in the 3rd quarter. Jimmy accidently
got personal with an opposing player in the box. On the ensuing PK shot, Rich made a wonderful diving save to secure the shutout.
This week we had a nice show of people. Hopefully, next week we show up to play.
