As designed, the buildings on the layout are limited to the Mine and maybe a temporary structure or two at the mining camp.  The town of Yaak provides some interesting possibilities but I won't be formally starting on that until I get the main shelf established.

 

     However- that doesn't mean I won't be building other structures.  I have established quite a collection of craftsman kits over the years and intend on working my way through them starting in the next couple of months.  As I begin these smaller side projects I'll post them here in the same fashion as on the Equipment pages.  I have been especially impressed with the work that Downtown Deco has been doing and will starting with some of their kits.

 

 

     The structures on the layout consist of two bridges at river level - I would like to do something Iron and Lacey if possible.  This will take a bit of work, and probaly some scratchbuilding.  There will be a shallow trestle wrapping around the final quarter of the Helix.   I may work a trestle into the approach to the mine as well but haven't decided yet.
