I've never made it to scenery on previous layouts so this area will be all new to me.  I've built some Military Diarama's before that have featured trees and ground effects but that's the limit to my experience.  On this layout the major areas I will need to explore will be foundation, cover, rock casting and sculpting, water effects, and vegetation, and of course a backdrop.
