MIDDLESEX COUNTY PRISON COORDINATING COMMITTEE NEWSLETTER
MCPCC met on January 12 2005 in West
Newton. Mary Ann
Donaldson, Tom Crowther, Elizabeth
Woodbridge and Marjorie
Moerschner were present, but our
coordinator, Beverly Wilkins,
was at home coping with the flu. Get well
soon, Beverly!
Tom reported that we have received very
generous donations from
Second Church in Newton and from
Eliot Church, Newton.
Many thanks to both churches, which have
supported us faithfully
for many years.
As we have mentioned before, Beverly would
like to have MCPCC
make a short video on some aspects of our
work. Tom has
done some research on how to go about
this. One possibility
would be for him to act as producer, using
equipment at a local
access channel. He has had some experience
with this. Another
possibility would be to have the video
professionally produced.
He knows someone who does videos
particularly for non-profits.
There are advantages and disadvantages to
both approaches. We
will discuss this further!
Tom and Mary Ann will get out our annual
appeal letter.
Attorney Lee Gartenburg will be our guest
at the February
meeting. This is always an exciting
meeting, jam-packed with
information- and as always, everyone is
welcome to attend.
NEXT MEETING: FEBRUARY 9, 2005, at 7 PM
SECOND CHURCH IN NEWTON, 60 HIGHLAND STREET, WEST NEWTON
