In 1995 , the Syria Shrine Roadrunners Club was formed to provide patient transportation
to our hospitals and Outreach Clinics. We have a roster of 32 qualified drivers , all Nobles of Syria Shrine operate
the vans to transport patients and families to and from our Hospitals and Outreach Clinics. We provide
of arrange free transportation to Erie, Philadelphia, Chicago, Cincinnatti . and Boston Shrine Hospitals
We currently have three minivans for this purpose. One of which was just purchased in 2003 and equiped with a wheel chair
lift , for transporting chldren who are confined to a wheel chair either electric or manuel.
In 2003 we drove 180 trips and put 47,680 miles on the vans. This amounted to 3500 Volunteer hours
