WE NEED YOUR HELP!
PLEASE MAKE THE CALL AND WRITE TO YOUR SENATORS & REPRESENTATIVES

Massachusetts has a bill (SD 1211) in the legislature requiring board certification for surgical technologists.  This bill is a collaboration between representatives from national and local AORN and AST organizations.  It is important for surgical technologists to get the deserved recognition while respecting and helping to preserve the licenses of nursing community.  We are confident that the communication and further collaborative efforts between all stakeholders will continue with a final bill that satisfies all parties.
However, WE NEED YOUR HELP!  There is strength in numbers.  In order to help fellow surgical technologists participate in the legislative process, we have included sample letters for you to download. Click here for a letter you can use.
