Dance
levels will be Mainstream through Challenge 2, including some
TNP ("take no prisoners"). And maybe hour or two of Oldtime. Introductory "Open
Houses" are always free to everyone!

Want to bring along your non-dancing partner? The "Dance
Widow" fee is only $15, and entitles a person to all
the PTOH events except Mainstream and higher dancing levels. Specific items included are: snacks during each dance session,
Sunday brunch, door prize raffle, Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle, and Open House hours. We encourage dance widows to try one of the latter. Say your
"Dance Widow" doesn't plan to visit or hang out
at the Convention Center or Fire Hall, then there's no obligation
to pay the fee.
We are again recommending The Breakers Hotel & Suites, our host hotel, located conveniently right next to the dancing. The good news for 2010 is that there is NO increase in the daily rates for the standard rooms and the one bedroom suites.
In the block of rooms reserved for square dancers, rates start at $89 per night for standard rooms (single or double occupancy) for Friday & Saturday nights. One-bedroom suites for the same, start at $109. The rates for triple & quad occupancy are $104/$114 and $124/$139, respectively. Some pet friendly rooms are available at an extra charge. Applicable tax will be additional.
For early arrivals and stays over on Sunday night, unfortunately, the flat rate for all room types is history, but there are still daily savings of $15 to $25. The scale is $74/$89/$104 for the standard rooms, and $89/$104/$114 for the one bedroom suites.
The Breakers has asked us to advise guests that rooms are "Run of the House", meaning that reservations are guaranteed at the discounted rate only, and not for a specific room type (or specific room numbers). But the Breakers will note a "request" and accommodate as best as possible.

Good news on Sunday check-out time for square dancers! Instead of 11:00 am, it is again 1:30 pm. But you must advise the desk staff of your intent before 11:00 am that morning to insure that your room card keeps working past Noon.
