Scholarships have been established in the following schools:
 
Chelmsford High School: Tom grew up and attended school in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. 
He was very active in the track program in junior high and high school. We award prizes to a
student from the girl’s track team and one from the boy’s team at the high school level. The
recipients are chosen with active participation by their coaches, guided by criteria established
by the scholarship fund.
 
University of Massachusetts at Lowell: Tom graduated from the University of Massachusetts
at Lowell with a degree in industrial engineering. He was an active member of the cross-country
and track program during his university years. We have awarded $3,000 annual scholarships
to three committed student runners at the university and are presently helping two additional
students with smaller awards. Currently, we are reviewing applicants from incoming freshman
students for an additional award.
 
Hope High School: Each year we are delighted with the superb student recipients from Hope
High. Many of these students live in the neighborhood where Tom owned real estate property.
These recipients have participated in the track and field program at Hope High School. We have
committed to match the scholarship each year that they remain in college.
