I found a home...

I was a little lost puppy walking on the side of the road when a man named Davie found me.  He took me to the Beebe Animal Shelter.  Jaxie and her granddaughter took me in and loved me but I was really really sick.  I lost most of my fur and started to look like Pugsly from the Adams Family.  That was my first name.  Pugsly.  My new mom sent in an application all the way from Pennsylvania, but Jaxie wanted to make sure I was well.  My hair was growing back and I still had some medical tests to pass before I could get on the bus and take the long journey to PA.  Jaxie took really good care of me and I was getting bigger.  My new mommy and daddy were getting really excited with email pictures of me.  On a foggy night in February 2006, when I was only 18 lbs, I was handed off the bus to my new mommy and daddy in PA.  I finally had a home.

I missed my family at Beebe, but I got to play at the park with other puppies and mommy took me to school every Saturday at Good Neighbor.  I had my first Easter with and got my first Easter bunny and mommy made me carob treats.  I got to spend my first Mothers Day with my new MomMom and she makes the awesomest meatballs ever!  I was still a sick puppy.  I lost my fur again and couldn’t be around my friends.  By the end of the summer I was all-better again and mommy and daddy decided it was time for a sister for me.  Enter Gracie…
