A Story By Mom:

A Poem by Homer's Friend Laura:

                   'That was Homer'

Merry brown eyes, dancing with cheer
That was Homer.

A paw on each shoulder to hold you in place
That was Homer.

An oversized tongue to blanket your face
That was Homer

A boundless-bright spirit too brilliant to hide
That was Homer.

A brindle-wrapped warmth to curl at your side
That was Homer.

'Live well, laugh often, love much'
That was Homer.  They wrote that for him.
