We
hold two Services of Worship each Sunday. At the 8:30 a.m. Service of Worship, our Praise Band leads the congregation in song
with guitars, drum, keyboard, and joyful singers. This service includes prayer, Scripture reading and interpretation, and
sharing news of our congregation.
At the 11:00 a.m. (10:00 a.m. through the summer
months) our Chancel Choir leads the congregation in hymns. The Service also includes Scripture reading and interpretation,
responsive readings, prayer, and affirmation of our faith.
Our Chancel Choir prepares a weekly anthem to
be sung at the later service. The Chancel Chimers, our Bell Choir, play in worship about once a month. A Teen Choir and a
Children’s Choir also sing at our worship on a regular basis. There are other singing groups like the Women’s
Ensemble who sing at our worship services. Music is an important part of our worship.
The center of our worship is the reading and
interpretation of the Scriptures contained in the Old and New Testaments. We believe that God speaks to us through the Scriptures,
and we take seriously the message contained in them.
Our church loves children, and children are welcome
at worship. A special time for children is provided at our worship. A fully equipped nursery with qualified childcare persons
is also available in our Education Building during Worship Services.
