What's Happening  in the Life of Our Church?

May 11 marks the Day of Pentecost. The Spirit of God is poured out upon all believers, and we are given power to do the work of Christ in the world (See Acts of the Apostles, chapter 2)

Pentecost marks a new beginning for the church. We celebrate the work of the Holy Spirit in transforming all creation and profess our confidence that the power of the Spirit is available to us to do the work of the church.

Our Sunday School is held at 9:30 a.m. Classes for Children and Youth meet in the Education Building and Adult Classes meet in the lower level of Legacy Hall.  There is a class for everybody! And there is professional child care provided throughout our Sunday morning program.

Our Summer Schedule begins of June 15. There will be Services of Worship at 8:30 and 10 am. Sunday School classes will be on vacation until September 7. Professional childcare is provided throughout our Sunday Morning Program.

Eight youth and five adults from our church will travel to Waynesburg, Pennsylvania from June 22-28 to work on a Habitat for Humanity project there. A Lunch and Bidding will be held on June 1 at 12 noon to support the Mission Trip. Shares can also be purchased to help with the cost of the trip.

On June 8 we will have our Family Fun Fest at 12 noon on the FPC campus. There will be good food and good fun for all ages.

Vacation Bible School, Beach Party, will be held July 28 through August 1, 5:30 to 7:45 pm. Call 410.838-5777 to register.

Summer is a great time to participate in our church! Please join us.
