Announcement from Terry Hunt: A member of our reenactment group has lost some of their guns due to a break in on their home and we are trying to help find them .3 enfield musketoons and 1 sks assalt rifle.2 of the musketoons have distinct markings on them, they have a C S belt buckle inbedded in the side of the stock. The musketoons were in a black carring case. The guns were stolen in Marion Va and whom ever stole them will probably try to sell them quickly and cheap. Please pass this along to other reenacters and hopefully we may find them.If you have any leads please pass it along to me or A J and we will contact our member or police

"Hugs From Home": I make fleece blankets for soldiers who are currently on active duty military service. It is one of the most rewarding projects I have been involved with and is growing rapidly. I encourage other UDC chapters to start their own "Hugs from Home". SCV Camps can get involved too. I will gladly share directions etc. with anyone who is interested. This started with a blanket I made for my son. His buddy also wanted one, and it spread like a ripple in water. Fleece material isn't expensive and the soldiers love them. A soldier in Afghanistan wrote in his thank you note that his blanket felt like a hug from home, so that's what I call my little project.~~~Janice Busic
