Fred Levi Massie
Fred Levi Massie was my grandfather; being my father's father. He is pictured above while working as a Stationary
Engineer at the Ohio Masonic Home in Springfield, OH.
He was born March 2, 1883 in Mason Township, Lawrence County, OH. He married Effie Nancy Brumfield on December
19, 1917 in Newport, Campbell County, KY. After moving to Springfield, OH they had 6 children.
Fred died August 17, 1950 of Tuberculosis. Effie died February 2, 1982. Both are buried in Ferncliff Cemetery
in Springfield, OH.
