Helping Youth Develop a Game Plan for Life
The
Clarksburg Sports Association (CSA) is organized for the purpose of developing, promoting and supervising recreational sports
and related activities for local youths, instructing local youths in these various sports, and teaching local youths by example
how to build and value relationships between and among coaches, teachers, parents and players, which purpose is and shall
remain exclusively charitable and educational within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The
Clarksburg Sports Association will be structured and operated in a manner consistent with the athletic structure of Montgomery
County Public School sports
programs and in accordance with the primacy of academic values. The programs
offered will serve to prepare youth for participation in community physical education and sports programs such as Rocky Hill
Middle School, Clarksburg High School, just to name a few. The program shall
foster the social, emotional, intellectual, moral and physical development of each child in a positive atmosphere in order
to assist youth in developing good character and lifelong relationships by teaching positive life skills, promoting fitness
and a healthy lifestyle. The organization will be
proactive in community outreach initiatives and is highly sensitive to the time and scheduling demands placed on today's
busy families.
The Clarksburg
Sports Association provides a holistic and inclusive program with a strategic
and intentional focus to build and value relationships between coaches, parents, players, agencies, leagues and organizations
for any and all youth within the greater Clarksburg Community.
