Officer Responsibilities
 

CSA Officers are responsible for conducting the affairs of the Corporation according to the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws and for accomplishing the vision and mission established by the Board of Directors.  Officers collaborate closely with the Board of Directors to develop and otherwise implement the various programs, policies and procedures of the organization.  CSA Officers have responsibility for the successful implementation of programs and day-to-day operations for the Association.   The guiding concern of the CSA Officers is the growth and development of youth who participate in the various athletic programs.

Julia Jones recently moved to Clarksburg from Omaha, Nebraska. Her husband, Chris, is the intermediate football coach, while Julia supported the team as "Team Mom". Julia has three sons, Luke 13, Matt 11, and Nate 8, whom are all active in CSA Sports.

Julia graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with a degree in Aviation Administration with a minor in Flight. She is currently working as the Office Manager and Graphic Designer for KLNB Retail, Washington, D.C. office. KLNB is a commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant and landlord representation.

Julia has a strong back ground in Volleyball and was Nebraska All-State. She also participated in Basketball, Softball and Cheer during her high school career.

 

Brian McCloskey was born and raised in Wilmington, DE.  He attended West Chester University where he earned a BA degree in Sociology.  While at West Chester Brian lettered in Track and Field and competed in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship in the 100 meters.  In high school he was an All-County and All-State long jumper.

Brian is widely considered a creative and resourceful recruiting professional with 18 years of total experience including 12 years as a Principal Recruiter in Executive and Technical search, and 6 years in Account Management.  He has a strong track record of exceeding expectations in aspects of staffing, training and team building.  He is most noted for his ability to quickly build rapport with internal and external clients.

Brian is married to Jacqueline Coan McCloskey.  Jacqui is a 2nd grade Board Certified Teacher for Montgomery County.   He is the Father of 5 elementary and middle school age children.  Each of the children is involved with athletics and participates in multiple CSA sports teams and sports camps. 

In 2008 Brian was an Assistant CSA Track Coach and will be an Assistant on the newly formed 2009 CSA Lacrosse team.  Brian is also a Master Instructor at a Martial Arts school in Silver Spring.  He holds a 4th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a 2nd degree Black Belt in Hap Ki Do.

Brian and his family reside in Clarksburg.

 

After graduating with a degree in health care, Lucy served as a registered LPN and dialysis nurse for BMA Metropolitan Washington Renal Dialysis Center in Bethesda, MD and San Antonio, TX.  She has been a metro Maryland resident for 23 years and has been in operations management for the past 20 years.  Lucy previously worked for the Deputy Director of the Information Awareness Office (IAO), Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), assisting with day to day administrative, office management and infrastructure support.  Lucy also attended American University in Washington, DC.

Lucy’s sports interests include running, volleyball and weight lifting as well as physical fitness and wellness development training.

Lucy currently lives in Clarksburg with her family and is the Business Development Operations Manager with Aptima, Inc. in Washington, DC.

A youth sports program built on proven philosophies and experiences from successful coaches, athletes and sports organizations in Montgomery County and across the nation.
