Clarksburg Sports Camp Director Bio

A familiar face in the Clarksburg community, Coyote Softball Camp Director Danielle Carpenter earned four varsity letters in high school playing softball and one in soccer and was named four-time softball MVP.  She was named All-South Jersey, all-county, all-area and all-conference all four years and was named the Burlington County Player of the Year in 1997.   Coach Carpenter went on to play softball at the University of Maryland from 1998-2002.  As a junior in 2001 she recorded impressive performances as a starting pitcher compiling a 5-1 record and 0.66 ERA.  As a sophomore in 2000 she registered a 2.19 ERA, 20 appearances, 13 starts, nine complete games and 89.1 innings pitched.  Her ERA ranks as eighth best single-season average in school history and she led the pitching staff in assists (15) and fielding percentage (.938).  Coach Carpenter graduated from the University of Maryland in 2002 with a degree in Math Education.  She continues her involvement in athletics as the Rocky Hill Middle School Softball coach in the fall season, and the Holy Child High School Varsity Softball coach during the spring.  This will be her 9th year of running summer softball camps!

A youth sports program built on proven philosophies and experiences from successful coaches, athletes and sports organizations in Montgomery County and across the nation.
