Not an actual prop from The Goodies, but the same
type of sherbet that Bill enjoyed in the show's first series.
Why is included here? Well, Bill's sherbet was a cause
of confusion for me when I first started watching The Goodies. You see, this confectionary isn't sold in the
US; over here, sherbet is a frozen dessert like ice cream. It was puzzling to see Bill walking around sucking sherbet
from a tube; since it wasn't dripping it obviously wasn't the frozen sort. Therefore the sherbet found a place
in this guide for anyone else who suffered similar confusion
The British treat contains "fabulously fizzy sherbet [powder] with a liquorice
stick to dip".
