Peach and Peppers was my first attempt.  Sea Dragons was my second attempt.                                                               Think I'll keep going....

Using four individual plates that have been color seperated using 'Photoshop" on my computer opens a new avenue of expression.  Each plate is inked with a different color: blue, yellow, red, and black.  They are then printed in one of a couple of various orders printing one color image on top of the others.  When they are combined, the mix yields a broad range of resulting colors.  For example, when blue is printed over yellow, the result is green.  Now imagine FOUR colors mixing together...almost endless varieties are found.
The alignment of the plates is critical- they must be placed eactly in the correct aligned position, one image over the other and one at a time, or else the image appears blurred and shifted.
