Let me show you a few of my etchings.  My web site is small, easy to navigate, and loads rather quickly.  Please do enjoy your visit, and let me know if you enjoyed what you saw.  I am always looking for new ideas in etching, so please forward them!

"Steeplechase"

(Left)  A fine old steeple found in Western Mass. in the Berkshires region.  Set among the crisp, bright, earthy tones of Fall, this architecture stood out magnificently in Norman Rockwell's piece of America.

The etching executed from this sketch was accomplished using  DuPont "Imagon" ultraviolet sensitive film laminated to an engraver's copper plate.  The plate measures 4x6".  This technique is called "Photopolymer Gravure".

(Lower Right)   The Historic Montpelier Mansion grounds herbal garden.  A beautiful spot to stop and simply pass some time.  It is graced by a sundial and surrounded by a white picket fence. The Mansion grounds are a wondrously beautiful, almost secret spot to escape from the hassles of the day.  This 4x6" Photopolymer Gravure etching captures all of it, except for the feel and smells of the soft grasses that decorate the gently rolling acreage. A picnic!

At some point in your life, you have to do a couple of things. (1) Go to Hawaii to see the lava flowing under your feet while standing on newly formed rock. (2) See the seductively stunning beauty of the hiking trails on Kauai. (3) Explore the midwest canyons, mountains, and deserts.  Get out of the car and hike them! Camp overnight in a tent in them!  (4) Visit the Arizona memorial at Pearl Harbor.  Swim with dolphins in the ocean.  And finally, ya just gotta' see the splendor of the Berkshires in the fall of the year while the colors are at their peak.  Visit the Norman Rockwell museum and just look at the America we all remember and reminisce as it was painted using his eyes. (These are all items I put on my "Life Checklist" many years ago.)
