who am i?
I'm the guy in the bandana on the right in the photo above.  It was taken in the Wind River Range, Wyoming, in summer 2001.  The photographer is my pal, Joshua Sheldon, one of my favorite photographers.  You can check out his web site by clicking on his name above or going to my links page.

Chances are, if you're viewing this web site, you know who I am, but just in case, here's my bio:

Scott Edward Anderson has been a Concordia Fellow at the Millay Colony for the Arts, and received both the Nebraska Review Award and the Aldrich Emerging Poets Award.  His work has appeared in the Alaska Quarterly Review, Blueline, The Cortland Review, Cross Connect, Earth’s Daughters, Isotope, Many Mountains Moving, Nebraska Review, Parlor, Philadelphia Stories, Poetica, River Oak Review, Slant and Terrain.  He was a founding editor of Philadelphia’s Ducky Magazine and writes “The Green Skeptic” blog.

that's me in the middle...

A third party takes aim at Scott Edward Anderson's poetry...

A few years ago I had a new experience: My poetry became subject matter. A young woman named Veronika Linhartova Morley, then a student at De Anza College in Cupertino, California, contacted me by email. She wanted to write about my poetry for a class assignment on contemporary American poets. Veronika came to this country from Czechoslovakia in the late 1990s to get the kind of education unavailable in her own country. Here is a link to her paper:
