That's us on the Black Volta riverbank in Burkina Faso. We met on a Pan-Am flight to Ghana in 1991. We served as U.S. Peace Corps Volunteers for three years in this West African country. We came back to the U.S. in September of 1994 and settled in Northern Virginia. We were happily married in Charlottesville, Virginia, in October 1995.

Ever wonder what life is like in an
African town? We would like to share with you some of our information
and experiences that we gained from living in these two small
communities in the Upper East and Upper West Regions of Ghana. We have a
lot of information and great stories to tell from our three years on the
edge of the Sahel. You'll also meet our friends as you wander through
our Virtual Villages. This page also provides links to Web resources on
Ghanaian culture and history.
