One thing that happened on the day tour was the unexpected unlatching and opening of  the gate that had just been closed and latched, later -at 10 pm during our paid investigation time,, we tried every way to debunk what we saw earlier at the gate-it was not possible for us to debunk the gate oening- earlier the gate had opened slowly as far as it would go - when we tried to re-create the movements it didnt work- the gate closed back to us instead of opening- we had to really push the gate hard to get it to open and it was at a much faster speed than when it opened by itself- and it still did not reach the tree- when we pushed it easily- at the same speed as earlier- the gate did not open- it came back to us.

We did capture a few evp, 2 evp were of the little girl that is rumoured to have been run over by a delivery truck by the swing ride. We heard many noises- one in the Indian burial field was the sound of drumming , only 3 of the 6 in the group could hear this.We saw a few dark shadows darting here and there. We do believe that Lake Shawnee has the potential for high paranormal activity- naturally it goes back to being at the right place at the right time - as  does with all our paranormal experiences.
