I was sitting in a director's chair while my daughter Annie and her friend were hiding behind me. I held the camera
upside-down and snapped the picture under the chair. I then rotated the image. I just love the framing of the chair support
around their faces and how the image captures their happy playful spirits.

I snapped this picture while standing on my hotel balcony in Merida, Mexico. I shot probably about 20 pictures of this vulture perched atop the building across the street and was lucky enough to catch
it beginning to take off.

This is one of my favorite pictures of my daughter Annie because it really captures her personality - what my husband
and I call "Annietude!"

Another picture taken in Merida, Mexico. I snapped a woman carrying a large bag of laundry. I then used Photoshop to
remove the color from the photo with the exception of the woman to make her colorful clothing stand out.
