Big Fat Daddy's supports recycling and has gone GREEN.
We try to use compostible
& biodegradable products when we can.
We buy misprinted cups and overstocked paper goods from factories
so our customers don't have to pay higher prices on food costs, which also keeps these unwanted items from being destroyed
and out of landfills.
Instead of fountain sodas with wax based cups, our green pledge
is to sell recyclable bottles or aluminum cans.
If we sell freshly blended smoothies and fruit drinks, we offer
discounted refillable novelty cups to encourage children (and parents!) to recycle early on! Some of our cups can be
used later for pencil holders or flower vases. This is a way to upcycle and repurpose!
We also recycle by donating our used
(ZERO TRANS FAT!) cooking oils to bio-diesel projects
in the Overlea/Baltimore area. We are proud to report one of the local students is currently running a garage heater
on old fryer grease, and is a few steps away from his truck running on it.
This is our world.
