Mitch Boone (57) and Cody Parker (65) ground a Scott Sky Hawk as the Mavericks (3-1) post a 19-7 win.
Capitalizing on a Sky Hawk fumble, Taylor Robertson (28) scores from 9 yards out giving the Mavericks a
7-0 first period lead.
Lee Triplett (21) pressures the Scott QB. On a surprisingly
dry dusty field the error prone Sky Hawks (3-2) turned the ball over early and often.
The Mavericks collected 10 turnovers.
With 2:30 remaining in the half Scott scored to make the score 7-7.
Nick Kisiel returned the ensuring kickoff 81 yards for a TD putting the Mavs back on top 13-7. Shown here on defense Nick Kisiel (24) and Lee Triplett (21).
With 56 seconds remaining in the first half Jacob Williams (16) caught a 14-yard TD pass from John Ballengee
extending the Mav lead to 19-7.
From his deep safety spot, sophomore Jordan McKinney (12) made three forth quarter pass interceptions ending
