Jaguar Fastpitch is comprised of girls from the communities of West Elizabeth, Jefferson Hills and
Pleasant Hills Boroughs that, joined together, make up the West Jefferson Hills School District. Jaguar Fastpitch has been
competing in the Greater Pittsburgh Girls Softball League for the past six years during fall fastpitch season. The desire
for Jaguar Fastpitch to be played during both spring and fall seasons has been kept alive largely due to the efforts of Keith
Tomko. Mr. Tomko has sacrificed his time, effort and money in order to enable the fall season fastpitch teams to operate.
During the winter of 2004-05, Mr. Tomko, joined by Bob Bourgeois, Bryan Frankenfield and Scott Jeffers, petitioned the West
Jefferson Hills Softball Association to sponsor 12 and Under and 15 and Under fastpitch teams for the spring, 2005 season.
The Association’s board agreed to sponsor one team in each age bracket with expectations that the league would rapidly
grow.
Rosters have now been completed, and all coaches and players are all eagerly awaiting the start of
the Fall, 2005 fastpitch season where they will compete with surrounding communities in the Greater Pittsburgh Girls Softball
League. There will be four teams for the Fall, 2005 season. They include an 18 and Under Team managed by Keith
Tomko, a 15 and Under Team managed by Bruno Bonacchi, and two 12 and Under Teams managed by Bryan Frankenfield and
Mark McConnell.
