The Tradition continues as the Ladies move into 15U...

This coming spring marks the beginning of the second year for the Lady Jaguars, and the start of the new year begins our quest to be a competitive force in the 15U GPGSL league.  We are excited about the opportunity to take our game to the next level of play and build upon our successes on the field.  With a higher level of competition comes a higher level of commitment from our players, and our Ladies know that the work is only just beginning... 

The Spring, 2007 season will enable our Ladies to build upon their strengths, work on their weaknesses, while introducing more advanced techniques in the game of fastpitch.  Coaching emphasis will be placed on overall team speed, advanced offense and defensive plays and strategies, more aggressive bunting techniques such as placing the bunt, and the slap and running slap.  And, from the circle, more advanced pitches are being perfected during the off-season, to ensure that the Spring, 2007 Lady Jaguars Fastpitch team enters into the season with confidence and determination.

That's the heart of the Lady Jaguars team!  They love the sport.  They practice hard.  They know that hard work is just part of the game.  They know that practice doesn't make perfect.  PERFECT PRACTICE makes perfect, and they take that determination onto the field with them.  
 
As we move into the 15U division of the GPGSL league for the Spring, 2007 season, our goal, once again, is to put a competitive team of 12 players on the field to compete with a higher level of commitment to the sport.  Our athletes will be asked to continue to make the commitment to strengthening their skills on the field and show the same desire and determination to be the best by working hard on more advanced techniques in the game of fastpitch.  Mark McConnell, as head coach, along with Bryan Frankenfield and Scott Jeffers, are proud to introduce the SPRING, 2007 LADY JAGUARS FASTPITCH TEAM...

And, back by popular demand, the Lady Jaguars will continue their tradition of bringing fashion to the field as we again sport the newest look in softball fashion for the season with uniforms in our team colors of black and pink!  Yes, PINK, but with a new twist for 2007!  Our colors don't set us apart from the rest...our determination does!
