Bassists and Guitarists: need only
to a 3 ring binder with some paper in it, and your guitar (do not bring any guitar cables or amps) and any old materials
from previous lessons/instruction. We'll add in tuners, metronomes and books as we evaluate your abilities after the
first few lessons. Please bring in a filled out "Student Info Sheet," veiw and print it with the link below, and
bring a smile, questions and a check for one month's tuition made out to "Wayne's World Music."
Young guitarists do not necessarily need to own or bring a guitar for our
first lesson, so if you do not yet own one yet let us know. We have every variety of guitar here and for young students
aged 12 younger we really recommend them starting studies on a nylon guitar as it is an inexpensive way to start ($150-ish)
and there are no cables and amp to lug around, the strings are much wider and easier to push than a steel stringed instrument
which makes much less pain on young tender fingers, and they come in four sizes, which we have here to make sure the
guitar fits your student properly, which means they will get more enjoyment when practicing with it!
Pianists: need only a spiral notebook,
please make it 8-1/2 x 11!!! Or Mr. Wayne will not be happy! and please bring any old materials from previous
lessons/instruction, and a totebag for your books is often helpful for the young students to make sure they keep all materials
together in one spot- Please bring in a filled out "Student Info Sheet," veiw and print it with the link below,
and bring a smile, questions and a check for one month's tuition made out to "Wayne's World Music."
