Wayne and Jennene met in the JMU music department
in 1986 and it was love 5 years later! They have been happily married, according to Wayne, since
1992. They have owned and operated a sound reinforcement company together, performed in pit orchestras, symphonies, weddings,
country music bands, church bands and yet they still love each other, (again)according to Mr. Wayne!
Mr. Wayne left technical
theater work in 1997 to teach lessons full time. He teaches piano, synth, theory, electric bass and guitar lessons.
And an occasional trumpet lesson!
Miss Jennene had been teaching music
part time since 1992, she started full time with "Wayne's
World" in 2005. She now teaches strings, piano, voice and theory. And still adores Mr. Wayne (again according
to Mr. Wayne).
Jennene is currently
finishing her doctoral work in education, and she will one day be...Dr. Nene!
Haley and Buster our our puppies
who provide endless hours of entertainment to our students who are stuck in our waiting rooms (usually waiting on parents
to pick them up!) Although they are both black dogs, they are not related to one another in any way, other than
their close affiliations with "the pack" which includes both Wayne and Jennene and anyone else who happens to rub their
bellies.

GMU. Yvonne holds both a Master of Music degree in flute performance, and a Bachelor of Music degree in instrumental
music education from George Mason
University. Go to youtube.com to check out a clip from her graudate
recital. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nP-ZiNC9rMk) Over her musical career she's had training in woodwinds,
piano, and voice. She performs regularly with the Capital Wind Symphony and the AgAu Flute Quartet (www.myspace.com/agauquartet). In
May 2006, Yvonne was a member of the National Wind Ensemble, which performed in Carnegie Hall. In addition to teaching
privately, Yvonne teaches at a summer woodwind camp, and has taught flute sectionals at area schools. (not from JMU)
Alyssa Cowell has been singing most of her life. After a recommendation from
the most excellent Pamela Potts of Loudoun County
High School, she started private vocal training as a freshman in high
school under the tutelage of Jennifer Gilmer, while taking as many choral classes LCHS would allow. After high school, Alyssa
studied under Edward H. Bryant at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL; earning her Bachelor’s of Music, emphasis on Vocal Performance and the award for
Most Outstanding Music Major in 2005. While in college, she was a devoted participant in all things music on campus –
dividing her time between performing with the Southeastern Lyric Theatre, Chamber Choir, and working administration for the
music department. These days, Alyssa does most of her singing as a substitute worship leader at her home church in Round Hill, Va. (Also not from JMU)

Drew Holcomb is the new student TA (teaching assistant) here at Wayne’s World Music. He began studying guitar
with us back in 2004 in one of Mr. Wayne’s guitar classes. Drew showed great promise even in our first class together.
He studied with us for three years and then went on to advanced classical studies with a local private instructor. Drew
is in the Artist Level guitar class at Heritage High School and has competed in local and regional guitar competitions. Jennene and
I are good friends with Drew’s family and know he comes from “good stock” as well as he is a fine young
man. Drew is skilled with beginning guitarists in many styles and is an excellent mentor with his musicianship and classical
guitar skills and abilities. Drew has co-taught with us for some time and had always hoped to teach at Wayne’s World like his old mentor Saleh Sabat.
In 2006, John Kocur received
a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from George Mason University while studying with saxophonists, Dale Underwood and Jim Carroll. From 2006-2008,
