By Escudo II out of Ghalewind (Gold Luck - Pablo - Weltmeyer). This filly has
an excellent all around pedigree and capabilities in dressage and jumping! She will be able to jump beautifully and has big,
round expansive gaits! And such pretty bling, a dark bay with a big blaze.
Sire Escudo II (Espri - Arkansas - Woermann) is a typey black 16hh Hanoverian who was Licensing Champion as a 2 year old. Escudo II appears in both the top list Jumpers and top list Type. He is one of only two stallions in North America to do so (the other is Pablo [also in this filly's pedigree]). Escudo II is in the Hanoverian jumper program and has the highest breed value for Type of any Hanoverian stallion in that Jumper program (151 type and 134 conformation). His FN rating is 103 for dressage and 128 for jumping. Escudo II is a class I stallion who completed his testing at Adelheidsdorf with 125.63 -- 4th out of 43 stallions. He scored 117.56 for dressage and 125.73 for jumping.
Dam Ghalewind (17 h) had a good in hand career at USDF sporthorse shows. She was ranked 14th in nation for
2 year old fillies (USDF), ranked 16th in nation for 3 year old fillies (USDF), was 2nd at Dressage at Devon - 3 year old
fillies, and was 5th at Dressage at Devon - 2 year old fillies. She is very rideable under saddle and has big gaits with lots
of suspension. She is full sibling to a gelding (Ghlenlivet) who was 12th in the nation at USDF First level (2004), AHS Reserve
Champion First Level and AHS Champion First Level Freestyle, was 5th in the nation at USDF Open at Second Level in 2005, top
15 in the nation in USDF Open at 3rd Level (2006), 7th in nation in USDF Open at 3rd Level, and 1st place USDF 3rd Level Open
Freestyle (2007). In 2008, Ghlenlivet was AHS 4th level Champion and was 12th for USDF 4th level Open HOY awards.
