TRIBE1 Assembly Program

Interactive, Informing and Inspiring

TRIBE1 offers concerts for school assemblies. Our songs inspire greater personal insight and give students a sense of community and social responsibility. TRIBE1 performances actively involve school community members. We may invite them to join us on stage or discuss the meaning of the songs and how they relate to personal or social issues.

TRIBE1 performs primarily original songs of change, growth, human relations and peace. Our performances are ideal to kick off or culminate a "community day" on these topics. We shape each performance to your school's needs. TRIBE1 brings an exciting and fun experience to involve mind, body and spirit.

Workshop/Concert

TRIBE1 designs and facilitates full or half day events which combine workshops with a full concert. We work closely with school members to create an exciting and informative day, based on the interests of the school community. TRIBE1 members then facilitate each workshop and tie them to relevant songs to be performed at the culminating group sharing. Click to see a sample schedule and sample workshops.

TRIBE1's presentations change the heart and nourish the mind. The Dean of Students at the Oakwood School in Poughkeepsie, NY, described a full day with TRIBE1 as follows:

TRIBE'S musicians are talented and sincere-beautiful voices with the desire to share their gift with workshop participants. Our students were enthusiastic and enjoyed both the workshops and the performance session that followed. A sense of community spirit, one of the goals of the day, could be felt on our campus. I strongly recommend a day with TRIBE1 for your school or other community group. TRIBE1 members are comfortable with adolescent students and, I suspect, with other age groups as well. I was very glad to have had the opportunity to present TRIBE1 to the Oakwood students.
