Andrew Clark has been one of
the Boston area's most in demand freelance saxophonists since he graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 1987 with
a double major in Music Education and Performance. He studied with Dr. Laurence Wyman, Jimmy Mosher, Joe Viola and Jerry Bergonzi.
He has performed and/or recorded with James Montgomery, The Uptown Horns, Gary US Bonds, The Coasters, John Cafferty and the
Beaver Brown Band, Jeff Pitchell, Jay Geils, The Brian Maes Band, Ernie and The Automatics, DD Martin and many more. Since
1995, Andrew has written the Rock and Roll Saxophone column and many cover stories for Saxophone Journal, an internationally
distributed publication. He has produced and recorded six master class CDs for Saxophone Journal and he travels to Europe
frequently to teach saxophone workshops and clinics based on these CDs. Andrew led his own band in the Boston area from 1994-2006
and released two CDs with the group.
