Kim
Stewart, Ministry Director
Kim first heard the voice of the Lord when she was 12 years old. Her first
response in prayer was not pretty. She was angry and blamed God for all of the
pain that she had suffered as a child in a family of addiction. Kim spent the
majority of her teenage years attempting suicide, but to no avail. The Lord had
a purpose for her life, and He was not going to let her die without first giving her the opportunity to fulfill it.
Her
heart’s desire is to share the God (Jesus) who came to her rescue after each suicide attempt. During her dark times, He gave her a message to remember, “This too shall pass.” And faith in that promise has brought Kim to a higher place in the Lord. Today, Kim is the wife of Pastor
Duane Stewart and the mother of three daughters. Her unhappy childhood has been
transformed into a glorious life in Christ. She heads the DEEPA Youth Ministry
where she keeps it real with kids by sharing her triumphs over an unhappy childhood.
As Director of the Up A Little Higher Ministry, Kim desires to transform lives by
sharing the promises and principles of God that made it possible for her to overcome.

The Vision
In 2006, Sister Kim Stewart received a vision from the Lord. In this vision,
she saw herself walking up and down the 3 levels of her home. On the basement
level, there were many people sitting down. They had their coats on and appeared
to be waiting to go some place. Then, on the second level, the Lord showed her
a woman working. But what was really amazing was what she saw on the third level
of her home. The bedrooms had all been transformed into heavenly chambers. Soft curtains flowed in the wind and angelic presences were standing all around. As she looked in the rooms, she noticed that they were empty — all except one. In this one room, there was a woman sitting on the bed dressed in white. She appeared to be waiting for Sister Kim. When she arrived, Kim
was amazed and took a seat directly across from the woman. Time went by in silence,
and then Kim asked the woman in white, “Why are all of those people cramped in the basement when there
is so much empty space up here?” The woman in white replied, “You
have to bring them up with you when you come.” Sister Kim would have this
vision again within the same year. It was almost identical except during the
second vision, she could more clearly see the faces of some of the people who were on the lower levels. Though Kim could freely move from the lower levels to the upper level, no one else even attempted to take
the journey. Sister Kim understood the words of the woman in white as being her instructions from the Lord to elevate those
who were trapped at lower levels in God by ushering them into the higher realms that were freely available to her. Today,
Kim uses every opportunity to share spiritual truths with women so that they can be set free to go Up
A Littler Higher in God.

Up A Little Higher hosts L.O.U.N.G.E.
fellowship sessions where women are invited to a girls’-night-out. At these
sessions, the ladies bring refreshments to share. They also play games and sit
around God’s Word to find solutions to their daily situations. At these
sessions, the Word of God is taught at a level where seasoned Believers, new Believers, and unsaved persons can grasp important
concepts and understand the depth of God’s unconditional love for them. The
goal of these sessions is in line with the vision and the overall mission of the
Up A Little Higher Women’s Ministry — to lift our sisters up to higher
heights in Christ Jesus.

Check Your Spiritual Temperature
After we give our lives to Jesus, we must learn to walk according to God’s
Word and the guidance of His Holy Spirit.
If not, we risk becoming carnal Christians. Up
A Little Higher has created a Spiritual Temperature Gauge that can be used to give you an indication of
the type of Christian you are. Carnality leads to death, living in the soulish
realm can lead to instability and frustration. But living by the instruction
of the Spirit leads to a life of victory. See the Spiritual Temperature Gauge below.

Hello Sisters,
I had the most marvelous time at the Women at the Well Conference that was hosted by Redeeming Love Ministries
under the leadership of Pastor Patty Fitzhugh. The Lord handpicked each person and we quickly became one in the Spirit.
I have never had my heart strings tugged the way that they were after spending 24 hours with the attendants of this conference.
I left refreshed, energized, and full of renewed hope. I thank God for each one of my new BFFs (Best Friends Forever).
May God continually bless you and grant you a closer walk with Him. Until next time (and there will be a next time)
enjoy a few photos...
Love, Kim

We praise God for the birth of this ministry which is designed to comfort, encourage, and equip the daughters of God
for their assignments by enlightening them with spiritual truths that will impact daily living. Check back for the dates of
future sessions.
God Bless until we meet again!
