The MGLL runs four age-based divisions
based on those used by most leagues and tournaments. There are U9 (ages 8 and under), U11 (ages 10 and under), U13 (ages
12 and under) and U15-modified (ages 14 and under, but no 9th graders). Players may "play up" in a higher division.
The age that is used for divisional qualification is the player's age as of December 31 of the previous calendar year.
Note: Not every MGLL club fields teams
in all divisions. Which divisions a club participates in is solely dependent on whether or not they can find coaches
and/or field enough players in that age group. PGGLC has historically only participated in U13 and/or U15 divisions,
depending on enrollment numbers. In 2007 the club had only one team in the U15 division, with many younger players who
"played-up."
