I have been investigating the sonification of program slices as part of my
computer science research programme at the University of Durham, U.K. Please
find a description of my recent activity at this link.
Theremin Recordings
The recordings below are snapshots of my continuing development as a theremin
player.
Dvorak: Humoresque. Recording made 20 Feb,
2005. Lewis Berman, Theremin. Lewis Berman, Piano. This recording was
made using a Moog Etherwave Pro theremin and a Roland HP 2800 digital piano,
both direct to sound card.
Mozart: K487. Recording made 23 Feb,
2005. Lewis Berman, Theremin. An excerpt from Mozart's Duo for Two Horns,
K. 487, adapted for theremin and accompaniment by the performer. The theremin
was recorded direct to sound card. The accompaniment was generated using
CSound.
