PASTORAL MESSAGE
It is ever our hope at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church to be a community church, rather than a church which just happens to be located in a community. Being a community church means we are open to the needs of people in the surrounding community.This happens when we treat all people with respect and dignity, sharing God's love with all God's children. We strive to do this through varied worship opportunities, a wonderful music program, fellowship opportunities, and meeting space when possible. Our hope is to meet new friends and be a place which values people of varying ages, races, economics, backgrounds, and traditions. This mean we will always respond to the need of people from a standpoint of GRACE. GRACE is about unconditional acceptance, love and mercy in light of everything life has to offer. GRACE is about allowing God's light to shine through our words and actions on a daily basis. GRACE-- This is what we believe, and what we practice.
