GENERAL
MEETINGS:
Our general membership meetings occur on the third Tuesday of every month. See our Upcoming Events page for details on the location.
Brief
informational meetings to discuss upcoming events followed by dinner in the restaurant. (cost of dinner is your responsibility)
These
meetings provide a great introduction to Philanthropy as well as an opportunity for socializing with your peers.
BOARD
POSITIONS:
The
Board of Directors meets quarterly to discuss and plan events and projects. A board position provides a means of getting involved
that does not entail lots of meetings. Most tasks can be easily accomplished
on your own time. We are always looking for future leaders, too.
HANDS
ON PROJECTS:
Volunteer to provide labor at a work session, write letters to locate donations, or head a project
committee.
FUNDRAISING
AND OTHER EVENTS:
Volunteer to plan events,
develop new ideas, or design invitations. We already have many annual events in place that provide us with most of the funding
we need.
PUBLIC
RELATIONS:
Help
us reach out to the community to inform them of what we do. Through newspaper articles, radio announcements, and our website
we would like to reach many more people.
