Sensei Anthony Camal

Sensei Camal began judo at age 6 and has never stopped. With over 32 years of experience, Sensei Camal has trained under some of the best instructors in the United States and the World. He dedicates all his free time to judo and martial arts. Sensei Camal is always trying to gain more knowledge of judo and its techniques. He has fought nationally and internationally and always has been a strong, successful fighter. Sensei Camal also believes judo to be one of the best forms of self-defense and exercise. Sensei's two daughters, Jaclyn and Kayla both train at Camal Judo. Jaclyn Camal is a 2006 National Bronze medalist and a 2007 New Jersey State Champion.

Coaching

 

In 2006, Sensei Camal coached 8 of his Camal Judo athletes in Junior National competitions to 17 top 3 finishes out of the 3 competitions. Rafael Ramos, a student at Camal Judo since 1999, won the men's National Championships at 60kg. He was the only 17 year old, and the youngest in the history of the United States to win the Men's Nationals. Sensei Camal is also an assistant coach for Team USA.
